son of Jožet, was born on 15 April 1921 in Dolnji Leskovac in a peasant family.
After finishing primary school, which he attended in Senov, he helped on his family's estate for some time, later working at the Senovo mine. He joined the partisans on 8 August 1944, and was assigned to the Kozjanski odred. In March 1945, he went together with Viljem Pečnik to Dolenjska to get weapons, but the Germans wounded and captured them. After a long interrogation and torture in Krško prisons, the Germans shot them.«

»VILKO PEČNIK
was born on 18 November 1914 in Hamburg. After finishing primary school, which he attended in Brestanica, he lived at home for some time and also worked as a shepherd, later working at a textile factory in Št. Pavl in Prebold. Due to strikes, he was dismissed, returned home and learned the trade of a locksmith.
During the occupation, the Germans sent him to Vienna to a locomotive factory, from where he escaped and worked at the Brestanica power plant. There he joined the OF, in 1944 the Germans arrested and transported him to the Strnišče camp, from where he escaped again and joined Mirka Bračič's brigade, where he became a leader.
On Kozjansko he was wounded, but after recovery he rejoined the fighters. On 27 March 1945 the Germans captured him in Presladol, transported him to Krško prisons and after a long interrogation in Krško also shot him.«
