Emonska 2

On the façade of the building, in the courtyard wing of which an illegal printing press operated in the attic bunker from February to August 1942, a hexagonal plaque with an engraved dedication (1977) was erected.

The illegal graphic technique "Tunel" in Ljubljana on Emonski Street, near comrade Kranjc, operated from February to June 1942. It was equipped among other things with a printing press of the "Boston" system. Its establishment was prepared by Dušan Kraigher-Jug and Mitja Ribičič-Ciril. Stane Cimperman-Cesar was its technical organizer and leader. At the top of this operation were: the deceased Majda Vrhovnik, current national hero Jože Ribičič, and for some time also Rudi Burić-Buro and Rezka Traven.
