Sistory states that for Poznik the date of death is 20. 4. 1942, for Jurkasa, however, the date of birth is 5. 7. 1908.

[..] The group that then left, however, was told by Stane Žagar about the cave at the top of the Savska struga near Okroglem, where they could temporarily hide. [..] The night of the 17th of April was cold and long. [..] Before dawn on the 21st of April, Vladimir Peraić and Stane Šmid slipped away along the water. They had already encountered Germans on the top of the hill. [..] The first morning light of April 22nd woke up the surrounded partisans. [..] Now, when every hope of a solution had gone out, the partisans decided to finish themselves. They could not live. [..] In the final moments, they began to sing partisan and other revolutionary songs, cried out for free Slovenia and the communist party, and cursed the fascists. [..] In the final minutes, the partisans destroyed their weapons and equipment and fired their ammunition. The last ones were kept; with them, six were shot.
