Dvanajstim padlim borcem tovarne UTOK

Bronze sculpture of the partisan on a stone pedestal is dedicated to 12 fallen fighters and victims of occupier's violence from the factory Utok. The monument was created by the sculptor Boris Kalin, and it was unveiled on May 5th, 1946. It was declared a monument of local significance 20 years later. After the destruction of the building in 1998, the monument disappeared, although the investor of the new neighborhood ZIL Inženiring was supposed to protect it. Demolition works were carried out by Žurbi Team in 1998, and the monument was stolen during the second half of 2003 and March 2004.

The monument was originally placed in front of the factory Utok in Kamnik, where it has been reminding people of the twelve partisans who died in the war for more than a hundred years.
After the nationalization and collapse of the factory, the area of the former industrial complex underwent a fundamental transformation into the residential neighborhood Mali Grad. The pedestal of the monument (the sculpture was lost during construction) was placed in the atrium of the neighborhood.
In May 2026, the monument was moved from the atrium to the nearby Knafljev crossing. A newly cast copy of Kalin's sculpture "Talec" was also placed.
