On an orderly cultivated space, there are three installations.
By the path lie stone plaques honoring Slovene and Italian soldiers who fell for freedom and rights. The plaques are in Slovenian and Italian languages. The author is writer Dr. Rado Bordon.
25 meters from the road along the pressurized path stands a sculpture made of white marble (sculptor Jože Pohlen).
30 meters further down at the end of the pressurized path, against a concrete wall, is affixed a granite plaque with the names of fallen soldiers.
The sculptor of the memorial is Jože Pohlen.
It was erected on July 4, 1976.
Sponsor of the memorial is the Borough Municipality of Bertoki.

V Bertokih ob cesti med zadružnim domom proti cerkvi in krajevnim pokopališčem na desni strani stoji spomenik 56 padlim borcem NOV in žrtvam fašističnega nasilja iz Bertokov in okolice. Hiša v bližini: Ulica ob spomeniku 18, Bertoki.
