DESCRIPTION OF THE PLATE: A bronze plate (size 32 cm x 23 cm) with a raised inscription attached to the rock.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT: During a well-known reprisal action due to a partisan attack on a German police car, all three houses in the village were burned down, and all the men over the age of 18 were shot. While the Aljančič and Teranova houses were rebuilt during the period of occupation, nothing remained of the former Mihelič house. Only the erected memorial plate indicates the place where Mihelič's house stood.
The memorial plate was installed by the local committee of ZB NOV Podbrezje and unveiled on 26 July 1966.
