In the Gymnasium Fichtnergasse, since 2022, there is a memorial plaque for the former student Heinz Geiringer, who was expelled from his family by the NS regime in 1938. After the occupation of the Netherlands, his family was deported to the concentration camp Auschwitz. Like his father, he survived a death march in January 1945 from the concentration camp Auschwitz to the concentration camp Ebensee. The plaque also remembers Eva Schloss's visit to the school on September 18, 2019.
