Memorial plaque for British diplomats

A memorial plaque at the British Embassy building in Vienna commemorates the British diplomats, civil servants and members of the Anglican clergy who, after the annexation of Austria by the German Reich in 1938, helped thousands of Jewish women and men flee from persecution by the National Socialist regime. The plaque was installed in March 2023 on the initiative of the Association of Jewish Refugees.
