Memorial Stele Flakturm Esterházypark

On September 24, 2020, a memorial stele was unveiled in the Esterházypark. The "Table for the contextualization of the Flakturm in the Esterházypark" recalls the history of the Flakturm, which has housed the House of the Sea since the 1950s. The stele was erected as part of the park's redevelopment. The initiative came from the Mariahilf District Board, and the project was financed and implemented by KÖR Wien. The table provides comprehensive information on the architecture and history of the Flakturm on both sides, with the text in German and English.
