On October 4, 2019, a commemorative plaque was unveiled at the house located at Elßlergasse 6. It commemorates the residents Hermine Löwenthal (née Lavetzky), Bruno Löwenthal, Rudolf Haas, and Ilse Löwenthal. Hermine and Bruno Löwenthal were deported from Theresienstadt to Treblinka on October 22, 1942, and murdered in the Holocaust. Rudolf Haas was deported from Theresienstadt to Auschwitz on January 23, 1943, and murdered in the Holocaust. The fate of Ilse Löwenthal is unknown.
