Memorial Plaque - Residents

On September 12, 2021, a memorial plaque was inaugurated at Schöllerhofgasse 7. It commemorates the 10 Jewish residents Malvine Wagner, Diana Ziegler, Süsskind Ziegler, Franziska Ziegler, Manfred Ziegler, Kurt Ziegler, Emil Krausz, Hilda Krausz, Egon Krausz, and Ilse Krausz. Malvine Wagner was deported to Łódź on October 23, 1941, and murdered on April 30, 1942. Diana, Süsskind, and Manfred Ziegler were deported to Maly Trostinec on May 27, 1942, and murdered on June 1, 1942. Franziska Ziegler was deported to Maly Trostinec on May 20, 1942, and murdered on May 26, 1942. Kurt Ziegler was deported to Auschwitz on January 15, 1944, and murdered in the Holocaust. Emil Krausz was deported to Nisko on October 20, 1939, and murdered in the Holocaust. Hilda, Egon, and Ilse Krausz were deported to Lagow-Opatow on March 12, 1941, and murdered in the Holocaust.
