Memorial Plate for 145 Jewish Women, Men, Children

In May 2018, a memorial plaque was unveiled at House Herminengasse 6. It remembers the 145 Jewish residents, including Leopold Stern, Franziska Stern (born Urich), Emil Urich, Irma Zaidmann (born Goldner), Alexander Zaidmann, Charlotte Zaidmann, Emma Burger, Malka Goldenberg, Isak Goldenberg, Naftali Chaim Monheit and Elsa Figdor (born Morawitz). Leopold and Franziska Stern were deported from Vienna to Sobibor on 14 June 1942 and murdered in the Holocaust. Emil Urich was deported from Vienna to Theresienstadt on 28 July 1942 and from there to Treblinka on 26 September 1942 and murdered in the Holocaust. Irma and Charlotte Zaidmann were deported from Vienna to Łódź on 28 October 1941 and murdered in the Holocaust. Alexander Zaidmann fled to Romania in 1938 and was murdered in Kishinev on 28 February 1939. Emma Burger was deported from Vienna to Maly Trostinec on 9 June 1942 and murdered there on 15 June 1942. Malka and Isak Goldenberg were deported to Łódź on 2 November 1941 and murdered in Chelmno. Naftali Chaim Monheit was deported to Nisko on 20 October 1939 and murdered in the Holocaust. Elsa Figdor was deported to Lagow-Opatow on 12 March 1941 and murdered in the Holocaust.
