On September 9, 2012, a bronze plaque was installed on the façade of House Berggasse 14. The inscription recalls that the national socialist regime forced 64 Jewish women, men, and 5 children into collective accommodations in this house before deporting and murdering them. Named are Adele Katzenell, Frieda Katzenell, Lia Katzenell, and Emma Schwarz (born Biermann). Frieda, Adele, and Lia Katzenell were deported from Vienna to Maly Trostinec on May 20, 1942, and murdered there on May 26, 1942. Emma Schwarz was deported from Vienna to Sobibor on June 14, 1942, and murdered there.
