In 2008, as part of the project "Remembering for the Future. A Project to Commemorate the Mariahilfer Victims of Nazi Terror," the Mariahilfer Cultural Platform installed a plaque with five brass plates on the facade of House Otto-Bauer-Gasse 4. The inscriptions on these plaques commemorate five former residents who were pursued, deported, and murdered by the Nazi regime out of antisemitic motives.
