The Mariahilfer Culture Platform installed in 2008 as part of the project "Remembering for the Future" two stone plaques with 16 bronze plaques in front of the house Linke Wienzeile 40. They commemorate eleven former residents of the house and the surrounding area who were persecuted, deported and murdered by the NS regime due to antisemitic reasons. The places of death are indicated on the bronze plaques, where known.
