Memorial Plaques Remembering for the Future - Gumpendorfer Straße 105

In the year 2008, two stone plaques with sixteen bronze plaques were laid on the sidewalk in front of the house at Gumpendorfer Straße 105 (corner Brückengasse). They commemorate former residents of the house, the street, and the nearby area who were persecuted, deported, and murdered by the NS regime for antisemitic or other reasons. The installation of the memorial plaques took place within the framework of the project "Erinnern für die Zukunft", which was carried out by the Mariahilfer Kulturplattform. The places of death are, where known, indicated on the bronze plaques.
