In the year 2008, the Mariahilfer Culture Platform, within the framework of the project "Erinnern für die Zukunft. A project on the memory of the Mariahilfer victims of NS terror," placed two stone tablets in the ground before the entrance to the Minna-Lachs-Park, Bürgerspitalgasse 16. They contain 16 bronze plates that commemorate twelve residents of the surrounding area. They were persecuted by the NS regime as Jews, deported and murdered.
