On October 21, 2001, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the façade of the house in Braunhubergasse 25, commemorating the politician and resistance fighter Rosa Jochmann, who lived in this house. Jochmann was persecuted both during Austrofascism and during the National Socialist regime. In 1939, she was arrested by the Gestapo, and in 1940 she was deported to the concentration camp Ravensbrück. She experienced the liberation of the camp in 1945 and returned to Vienna, where she continued her political activities.
