In the spring of 2012, the city of Vienna installed an additional commemorative plaque under a memorial tablet for Soviet Josef Stalin from 1949 on the facade of the residential building at Schönbrunner Schlossstraße 30 in district 12. This new plaque commemorates the victims of Stalinism. The text also points out that some of them had already been persecuted by the NS regime for political and/or antisemitic reasons.
