This memorial for Moritz Perles and persecuted Jewish booksellers was installed on March 23, 1988, on the building at Seilergasse 4. The text of the memorial plaque generally addresses the plundering, persecution, and murder of Jewish publishers and booksellers, exemplarily also the persecution of the bookseller Moritz Perles, whose publishing bookstore was located in the house.
