Memorial Plaque for Teachers and Students of Chajes-Gymnasium

In the year 2010, the primary school at Staudingergasse 6 in the district of Brigittenau, together with the Steine der Erinnerung association, placed a commemorative plaque on the facade of the school building in memory of students and teachers from the Chajes-Realgymnasium who were deported and murdered by the NS regime. The commemorative plaque replaced an older one that was installed in 1995. The new commemorative plaque forms part of the Path of Remembrance through Brigittenau.
