Memorial plaque for persecuted Viennese professional students

October 27, 2004, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of the Central Vocational School at Mollardgasse 87. The plaque reminds visitors of the Jewish vocational school students who were expelled and murdered during the Nazi regime.

The tablet was created by stonemasons from the Vocational School for Building Trades. The erection of the memorial tablet was part of a broader project by vocational schools on the subject of the Nazi era, initiated at the suggestion of Director Robert Patocka. At the unveiling ceremony, along with Leo Bretholz, another expelled student, there were also plaques "Stones of Remembrance" placed next to the memorial plaque, one on each side.
