The memorial plaque for six resistance fighters was installed on April 28, 1946, at the entrance of the tram depot Brigittenau in Wexstraße 13–15. The plaque was funded by colleagues from the depot Brigittenau. The honored individuals were conductors or locksmiths at the depot and members of a resistance group. They were executed by the NS judiciary at the Vienna Regional Court.
