Memorial plaque for six executed resistance fighters

The memorial plaque for six executed resistance fighters was originally installed on March 10, 1948, in the management of the Vienna Electricity Works at Mariannengasse 4-6. The plaque remembers the resistance against National Socialism by six employees of the plant, who were murdered in the Landesgericht Wien or in the concentration camps Mauthausen and Buchenwald.

After the sale of the building, the plaque was moved to the grounds of the City Gas Works in Simmering, Eyzinggasse 12, in the year 2017. There, it is now part of an ensemble with another monument for ten resistance fighters.
