On March 11, 1988, a memorial plaque for more than 1000 victims was handed over to the public by the "Austrian League for Human Rights" at the Vienna Regional Court, Landesgerichtsstraße 11. As the plaque could not be mounted on the building façade at the time of the foundation due to construction work, it was installed in the antechamber of the Great Criminal Court Hall for several years and was moved to the outer façade at an unknown time.
