The memorial plaque for murdered students and teachers of the Gymnasium Fichtnergasse was created as part of the project "Juden in Hietzing". It was initiated and carried out by the Volkshochschule Hietzing. The Gymnasium Fichtnergasse was also involved. Here, students researched the names and stories of students and teachers who were persecuted and murdered or disappeared due to antisemitic reasons during the NS regime. The plaque was unveiled in March 2015.
