On August 4, 2006, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the façade of the house at number 40 Lindengasse in the district, commemorating the house owner and Jewish textile merchant Albert Pollak. Pollak fled to Dutch exile in November 1938. He and his entire family were expropriated in 1940. The house was restituted to its heirs in 1948 after a lengthy procedure. The plaque was donated and funded by the Wiener Grünen, who have their party headquarters in the house.
