On June 10, 1999, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the façade of the house in Hegelgasse 21. It commemorates the Jewish psychiatrist and aggression researcher Friedrich Hacker, who was born in this house and lived here until 1937. After the National Socialists came to power, Hacker first fled to Switzerland and in 1940 further to the United States.
