At Frieda-Nödl-Hof in Rochusgasse 3-5, the city of Vienna affixed a memorial plaque on November 14, 1984, honoring the namesake of the residential building complex, the social democratic communal politician Frieda Nödl. After February 1934, Frieda engaged in the illegal Revolutionary Socialists' resistance against Austrian fascism. On June 9, 1939, she was sentenced to two and a half years of hard labor by the first session of the Berlin People's Court in Vienna for supporting relatives of imprisoned comrades.
