On November 6, 2008, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the façade of the house in Johannesgasse 22, commemorating the Chinese diplomat Feng-Shan Ho. From this building, Ho helped numerous Jews and Jewish women escape during the National Socialism. The plaque was donated by the Israelitische Kultusgemeinde, the United States Commission for the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad, and the Chinese Embassy.
