On November 26, 2008, a memorial plaque was unveiled at the Bundesgymnasium Fichtnergasse, commemorating Danuta and Ewald Kleisinger. The couple supported the Jewish family Prezman and saved family members and friends from persecution by the National Socialists. The couple was honored by the Israeli memorial site Yad Vashem in 1966 as "Righteous Among the Nations".
