The Memorial for Victims of Fascism was erected on October 24, 1989, at the Hernals Cemetery in the form of a wooden cross and a marble memorial plaque. The monument was established by the District Representative of the 17th District. The wooden cross had been standing longer, while the dedication plaque made of marble was created by Leopold Grausam.
