Bust of Franz Schuster

The sculpture commemorates the resistance fighter and KPÖ functionary Franz Schuster. It was reinstalled in 2010 at the seat of the KPÖ and the Alfred Klahr Society in Drechslergasse 42, 14th District. Originally, it had been erected as a memorial gravestone on the Vienna Central Cemetery on April 28, 1953. The relocation took place because the grave was abandoned. Around an unknown date after 2018, the sculpture was returned to the Central Cemetery; it is located in the gravesite group 40 in the Honor Grove for the resistance fighters who were executed between 1942 and 1945 by Nazi justice at the Vienna State Court.
