On May 18, 2008, the community of Thalgau unveiled a memorial site in the garden of the former district court to commemorate the victims of Nazism from Thalgau. Here also lies the commemorative plaque embedded in the ground for Zäzilia Michelitsch, who was born on February 26, 1912. On April 16, 1941, Zäzialia Michelitsch, along with 67 other individuals, was deported to Hartheim and murdered there in the same year.
