Memorial Plaque for the Victims of National Socialism at the War Memorial

The memorial plaque unveiled in 1988 on the cemetery of the community of Strobl commemorates all persons who fell victim to the national socialist regime between 1938 and 1945 due to their religion, their political convictions, their resistance, their sexual orientation, and due to psychological and physical impairments. The plaque was mounted on the war memorial, which consists of three arched walls and a lantern. The memorial plaque for the victims of National Socialism is, however, attached to the middle wall, thereby being obscured by the lantern located at the center of the memorial.
