2015, the mayor of Rohrbach bei Mattersburg initiated that a commemorative plaque for the victims of National Socialism be placed at the base of the local war memorial. This plaque remembers the victims of "NS-Euthanasie" and explicitly commemorates the Rohrbacher Romnija and Roma who were deported from 1938 in several arrest actions to various concentration camps, including Lackenbach. Only a few survivors returned to Rohrbach after 1945.
