Since 2005, a memorial plaque for the victims of National Socialism from the community has been located on the cemetery in Halbturn. The community refrained from naming the victims, the resistance fighter Ignaz Pirringer, the victims of the "NS-Euthanasia," Josef Graf, Josef Heiß, Adam Ujvary and Katharina Ujvary, the conscientious objector Josef Weiß, and at least 15 members of the Roma families Horvath, Karoly and Ujvary, who had found violent death during National Socialism.
