Memorial Plaque for Murdered and Expelled Jews in Wolfsberg

Near the Wolfsthal Town Hall, at the edge of the sidewalk, a commemorative plaque stands, naming six individuals. These are Jewish citizens of the city of Wolfsberg who were chased into exile, deported, and murdered by the National Socialists. A research project preceded the unveiling of the commemorative plaque, in which historian Andrea M. Lauritsch from Wolfsberg was tasked with researching the history of Jews in Wolfsberg. Victims' family members were also involved in this research. One person commemorated on the plaque, Anny Junek née Gross, participated in the unveiling ceremony with her family.
