Memorial plaque for the forced laborer Rade Dinic in the cemetery Tux

Mayor Franz Berger reported on August 29, 1978, to the municipal council about the understanding reached between the Tyrolean Land Archive, War Graves Care, that a forced laborer, Rade Dinic from Yugoslavia, was buried in the Tuxer Cemetery. However, the grave had already been disturbed, and the grave marker or commemorative plaque was no longer present due to the demolition of the old cemetery wall. The municipal council therefore unanimously decided to have a new plaque installed and to re-establish the now disturbed grave. As justification, he stated: "The cemetery caretaker is obliged, under the state treaty, to preserve such graves. Since a dedicated commission from Yugoslavia will inspect all graves in September of this year, the plaque had to be ordered."
