Memorial plaques for Jakob Gapp, Carl Lampert, Otto Neururer and Josef Mayr-Nusser at the Heilig-Blutkapelle St. Georgenberg Stans

In connection with the construction of the Holy Blood Chapel before the entrance of the monastery complex of the Benedictine Abbey St. Georgenberg, Abbot Gregor Schinnerl had two commemorative plaques installed on the two outer wooden beams of the chapel's roof in 1977 on July 13. They commemorated the blessed spiritual martyrs Carl Lampert and Otto Neururer as well as Abbot Adalbert Neipperg. After the 2017 beatification of the South Tyrol Diocesan Youth Leader Josef Mayr-Nusser, who had refused to take an oath on Hitler, Abbot Anselm Zeller had the plaques re-inscribed. He replaced Neipperg with Mayr-Nusser and also the similarly beatified Father Jakob Gapp, who was beatified due to his martyrdom during the NS period.
