Dr. Hermann Stern was managing director at the Metallwerk Plansee. The National Socialists declared the Catholic a "half-Jew," imprisoned him for one and a half years, and expelled him together with his family from Tirol. On initiative of the architect Sighard Wacker, the publicist Markus Wilhelm, and the teacher Sabine Beirer-Raffl, the Reutten mayor Alois Oberer unveiled on 30.11.2017 in the corridor of the Homeland Museum a memorial plaque for Hermann Stern with a text by the chronicler Richard Lipp.
