Memorial cross for the Viennese Josef Scheffel (1908–1945), who joined a resistance group in the Hochlantsch area together with other deserters early in April 1945. During a firefight, he was shot by the SS on 26 April 1945. In August 1945, Viennese freedom fighters, who had fought with him in the Hochlantsch area, erected a memorial cross at this location, which was renewed in 2014.
