Gedenkstätte for the siblings Anna and Dora Kallmus

The siblings Anna and Dora Kallmus lived until 1938 in a house in Frohnleiten, with Dora moving her place of residence to Paris in 1925, where she worked as a successful photographer until the rise of the National Socialists. Her sister Anna was expelled from the shared house after the National Socialists came to power in 1938 and was deported to the "Ghetto" in Lodz in 1941, where she was murdered in 1944. Dora survived the war and persecution in France and was awarded the house of her sister in a restitution procedure, where she also spent her final months.
