Viktor Klein (1869–1944) was a former Rittmeister of the k.u.k. Army and tenant of the estate Kollmannshöhe in Gniebing (Feldbach). As a convert from Judaism to Catholicism, he was expelled over the Hungarian border by local National Socialists after the "Anschluss" in 1938. In March 1943, he was brought to Theresienstadt, and in December he was deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp, where he was murdered at the beginning of the year 1944.
