The Regierungsinspector Josef Schaffer (1897–1945) came to the service leadership of Fohnsdorf in Weiz. Here, he was arrested in July 1944 on suspicion of "membership in a resistance group" and transferred to the KZ Dachau, where he died on February 27, 1945.
