The Jesuit father and teacher at the Feldkirch Jesuit College Stella Matutina Alois Grimm (1866–1944) was monitored, denounced, and in 1944 was sentenced and executed by the People's Court of Berlin for "weakening the military strength." A memorial plaque at the entrance to the Antonius Chapel in Feldkirch-Tisis remembers him.
