The memorial consists of a planted linden tree and a stone block lying next to it, measuring 0.85 x 1.80 x 0.75 m, which remained from the destroyed Borovniški bridge. On it are attached two metal plates. The first is the coat of arms of Slovenia, while the second is a rectangular shape with relief inscriptions. The memorial, arranged on the fifteenth anniversary of the linden tree's planting, was organized by the municipality of Borovnica, and was unveiled by Stane Novačan and Franc Drašler, on 26.6.2006.
