1st May 1959, in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Slovenian Communist Party, a memorial plaque was unveiled on which it is written that the Bojanci villagers contributed means for the electrification of the village by means of electric power companies. (Apart from the Electric Power Company of Slovenia, still 28 related companies). Source: magazine Borec, page 284, issue 6, year XI, June 1959
