The Baštejeva family was particularly active in Lokovica. Three sisters, aged 9 to 12 years (Ivanka, Rezika, Katka), were members of the youth organization. The whole family was connected with the Domnovo unit (K37) and the courier post K-17, led by Ožbalt Fajmut. They helped with food and medical supplies, especially with gathering intelligence, in which they were connected with Karl Štriker and Štefan Kralj. On the Austrian side, they were connected with the Apovnik and Skok families in Senčnem. Three sons were in the partisans, one (Mirko) fell, and the father Franček was killed by the ustaši at the end of the war.
