Borovnica, Molkov trg

The square was named after Jože Molek - Puntar, born in 1911, died in 1969. He was from Brega near Borovnica. Already before the war, he joined advanced organizations, and with the start of the Second World War, he became one of the more active organizers of the NOG in the area of Borovnica, Krimska Highlands and Notranjska. In 1941, he went to the partisans as a pioneer, and later became a member of the Council of Delegates of the Slovene People in Kočevje, bearer of partisan memorials and other distinctions.

Molekov trg je na desni strani Mejačeve ulice, kjer je tržnica, Pošta, trgovina Mercator in drugi objekti. Ulica Molkov trg pa je dolga okoli 280 m in poteka od Mejačeve ulice do Zalarjeve ceste, mimo lokala Pr ´ Dohtarju.
